I am Lara Lasky, Radical Birthkeeper and Holistic Sage for women taking the courageous leap from maiden to mother. I have traversed the medical system as a public health scientist. I have explored the “health and wellness” community as a Certified Holistic Reproductive Practitioner, and a Certified Doula. I have left my mark on that world through my bountiful Doula Agency in Chicago, and I have midwived myself into freedom as a Radical Birthkeeper.

Now, I bow before you as a steward of the conscious movement toward integrity, radical responsibility, and sovereignty. As a mother myself, I know the immense power of having wise women by your side during the motherhood continuum - not to guide your journey for you, but you guide you back to your own inner-compass, your Divine source of Direction and knowing.

I offer virtual support through 1:1 coaching and education for women in the motherhood continuum. These 1:1 sessions are sacred spaces for women around the world to process whatever you’re going through, to ask questions that the medical system won’t answer, to hear stories of real women as inspiration, and to learn about the physiological truths of each portal of motherhood. Process through your birth story in full with a compassionate Radical Birthkeeper who can help you to truly understand what happened, and to hold space for the healing journey after birth trauma of any kind.

Birth Planning & Education

With years of birthwork experience, I will guide and support you as you plan for your empowered birth, including offering radical birth education to prepare you for an autonomous birth at home.

Postpartum Planning & Education

While most women spend pregnancy planning for the birth, it is equally (if not more) important to plan for postpartum. I will help you create a holistic postpartum plan that supports your physiological healing, relaxation, and MotherBaby bonding.

  • Absolutely. My trauma debriefs are for any woman seeking to process the struggles of her pregnancy and birth, no matter what happened. Book a session now to get started.

  • No. I am not a licensed medical or midwifery professional of any kind, and I am therefore unregulated in how I support women. You should always seek medical support if you feel you need it.

  • Yes. I serve women in-person in the Louisville, KY. area. I offer my community Sacred Postpartum Care, Radical Birthkeeping, in-home support through A Mother’s Journey, Reiki & Reflexology, and more.
